TAKE 3 HAND-PAINTED LEAF MOTIFS
We show you how to paint these tropical leaf motifs in the mini-course, Studio Sessions: Tropical Leaves in Gouache. If you haven't completed this course, no worries! Either do it first, or find three existing painted elements. The techniques apply to just about all painted motif styles with defined borders (soft, washy edges won't work as well).
AND TURN THEM INTO 10 DESIGNS
Yes! You will learn to create each of these designs from the same three motifs. Six in-house Longina Phillips Designs designers reveal their most successful design practices, across a wide range of styles.
Before you start, you need:
- 3 hand-painted motifs scanned, cleaned and separated onto different layers in Photoshop.
- Photoshop CS5 or above
- Access to the internet to stream your videos
- Access to a printer (if you would like to print your PDFs)

With each of the 10 design styles you'll gain more awareness of the potential of your three original motifs.
